It means nothing is added and nothing is hidden. Our candles contain absolutely zero petroleum paraffin, soy modifiers, synthetic fragrances, or chemical dyes. We even omit the metal cups from our tealights, leaving you with nothing but the raw, sun-warmed glow of pure beeswax and a cotton wick.
-
We currently source high-quality, unrefined single source beeswax from the trusted, sustainable Ames Farm. Because it is completely raw and unbleached, it retains its natural, subtle aroma of honey and wild blossoms.
-
Yes. Because our naked candles are completely free of synthetic oils, parabens, and plastics, they are a comforting, low-tox tool for individuals with sensitive nervous systems, respiratory issues, or MCAS.
-
We choose to keep our candles entirely naked. Essential oils often lose their therapeutic benefits and can even release synthetic-like biproducts when subjected to the incredibly high burn temperatures required by beeswax. We let the raw honey scent speak for itself.
-
A dusty white film on your candle is a natural process called "bloom." This is a visual guarantee of 100% purity, occurring as the natural oils within the beeswax migrate to the surface. You can leave it for an authentic look, or easily wipe it away with a soft cloth or warm hands.
-
Beeswax is the slowest-burning wax available. Our 3x3 pillars burn for approximately 40+ hours, our mini 2x3 pillars burn for approximately 20+ hours, and our individual tealights provide a long, steady burn of approximately 3.5 to 4.5 hours each.
-
To keep our footprint entirely plastic- and aluminum free, our naked tealights are designed to be placed directly into your own reusable glass, or ceramic tealight holders.
-
Because we hand-pour our beeswax candles in small batches, please allow 2 to 4 business days for processing before your order ships. We ship on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
-
Because our items are artisanal and personal care lifestyle goods, all sales are final. Please review our full Shipping & Return Policy page for complete details on summer schedules, carrier options, and transit damage.
